About The Position

We are looking for a full time Accounting Clerk who will work with a talented and accomplished team. The ideal candidate will preferably hold an associate degree and have 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable. Additionally, they must be proficient working on a computer and utilizing Microsoft Office.

Requirements

Associates Degree is preferred.
1-2 years of accounts payable experience is preferred.
Demonstrate strong customer service skills and work ethic.
Ability to use Microsoft products to include Excel and Outlook.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to set priorities and handle several tasks at once.

Responsibilities

Responsible for processing and expediting a high volume of invoices to ensure timely payment.
Work with branch personnel on posting and payment of vendor invoices.
Work directly with vendors to resolve issues.
Initiate weekly and monthly vendor check/ACH payments.
Coordinate remote check posting.
Research open vendor statement items.
