About The Position

The Accounting Clerk supports the daily operations of the accounting department by reconciling delivery paperwork, processing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring fi nancial accuracy, maintaining organized records, and providing general offi ce support. Working closely with the Accounting team, the Accounting Clerk helps resolve discrepancies, complete posting tasks, and contribute to the overall effi ciency of accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required; coursework or experience in Accounting preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clerical, AP, or accounting support role preferred
  • Profi ciency in Microsoft Offi ce, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a working knowledge of all office roles to provide backup as needed
  • Provide support across the office and assist with other duties as assigned
  • Perform daily reconciliation and posting of billing invoices
  • Match invoices by load to warehouse unloading reports
  • Scan billing invoices into Edgar software
  • Collate and fi le billing invoices
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items
  • Support fintech administration by setting up accounts and assisting customers with account or payment issues
  • Scan AP invoices into Edgar software
  • Support weekly AP check runs
  • Prepare and post daily auto-posting worksheets for sales and inventory transactions
  • Prepare daily bank deposits
  • Provide coverage for receptionist, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
