About The Position

The Accounting Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the processing of invoices for accurate, timely payments to our vendors on behalf of our Marvin locations. Highlights of your role - Vendor setup and maintenance - Process and enter invoices in our ERP systems, including coding to correct project codes and ledger accounts - Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment, using three-way match method. - Identify invoicing discrepancies and resolve as appropriate - Assist with sales/use tax and tax exemption when applicable - Balancing reports and assist with payment processes and banking validation. - Other special projects and task as deemed necessary. Requirements

• The ability to work efficiently, accurately meet deadlines, and work well independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Work cooperatively with multiple departments, locations, purchasers and vendors.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; willingness to server internal and external customers in a timely and accommodating manner
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn.
• Two-year Accounting degree strongly preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
• Basic bookkeeping and data entry skills
