Job Overview

This role supports the team to accomplish Division’s goals, in maintaining adequate internal controls over all areas of hotel operations, in supervising and directing financial activities of the hotel, safeguard assets, and preparing all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Requirements

• Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures, and transcription
• Work hour flexibility including late afternoon, weekend, bank holidays and end of month
• Be able to speak, read, and write in English

Nice To Haves

• Experience in finance in the hospitality industry or degree in accounting
• Knowledge of SunSystems, Adaco, or HMS

Responsibilities

• Monitor master account from check-in through check-out, ensuring correctness of billing
• Prepare and post city ledger adjustments as needed, as well as prepare adjustments to reflect receipt of payments from credit card companies upon notification from the bank
• Enter credit approvals into account management software
• Transmit credit and food and beverage batches to credit card companies for payment
• Prepare group codes and open masters for all unassigned groups on daily event orders
