About The Position

This role is a blend of general accounting and administrative skills and will support Aviagen Turkeys Inc. in Lewisburg, West Virginia. This full-time role reports directly to the Controller and offers a competitive benefits package

Requirements

• Clear criminal background and good credit history
• Strong organizational and attentive to detail
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
• Ability to work full-time from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday

Nice To Haves

• Associate's/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Spanish/English bilingual skills
• Prior office-related experience

Responsibilities

• Filing and organizing invoices
• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries, comparing system reports to balances, and charging expenses appropriately based on analysis of invoice/expense reports
• Creating and processing sales invoices
• Management of Company Credit Cards and Monthly Expense Reports
• Entering Accounts Payable invoices into the system
• Reconciling monthly statements
• Performing additional tasks and duties as required to support the department
