About The Position

Champion Hills Club and POA is hiring an Accounting Clerk!  This individual
provides accounting-related administrative assistance.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of property management system.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all Troon Golf accounting standards.
• Oversees the accounts receivable function to include:
• Processing month end member billing, interest billing and installment plans
• Maintains the member deferred revenue schedules
• Printing and mailing monthly member statements
• Answering member inquiries
• Processing member payments
• Adjustments to member accounts
• Prepares accounts receivables statements
• Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports such as: Batch Reports, Cash Reports.
• Oversees the accounts payable function to include: Reviews and processes invoices including updating the general ledger.
• Reviews and processes expense reports.
• Maintains record keeping, filing systems and processes daily mail.
• Assists in the reconciliation of accounts payable, vendor statements, loans and various general ledger accounts as needed.
• Assists with month end close, review and print reports
• Assists in performing daily revenue audits for revenue generating departments.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
