Requirements

  • A detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of accuracy and accountability.
  • Experienced in basic accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a hospitality or service environment.
  • Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.
  • Organized and efficient with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative communicator who works well with multiple departments and vendors.
  • Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information.
  • Flexible and dependable, especially during busy periods and month-end closings.
  • Open to learning and growing within the accounting or finance field.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with hotel property management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, assist with general ledger account reconciliations, and support month-end closing processes.
  • Maintain organized records and filing systems for financial documents.
  • Monitor vendor statements and respond to inquiries regarding payments and account balances.
  • Assist with credit card reconciliations, petty cash audits, and daily revenue reporting.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Support the Accounting team with audits, inventory tracking, and special projects as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Uphold all internal controls and follow company financial protocols.
