About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of general ledger accounting. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting function within the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of debits and credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, SAP exposure would be a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and account analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments.
  • Perform account analysis, day-to-day sales documentation and verification, reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Utilize accounting software, including SAP entries, to maintain accurate financial data.
  • Assist with tax preparation and compliance as required.
  • Support public accounting tasks, including audits and financial reporting.
  • Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions and records.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
