About The Position

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community has an excellent opportunity for a Temporary, Part-Time Accounting Clerk to join our Financial Services team! Schedule: Part-Time Temporary (Potential for permanent placement) April through July Monday through Friday, from 8:00am-12:00pm or 9:00am-1:00pm Compensation: $16.00-$17.00/hour, dependent upon experience We are people, respected and appreciated; serving people, respected and appreciated. Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • 2 yrs experience, mainly accounts receivable background
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, ERP)
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, with a focus on Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, residents, and visitors
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and organize tasks
  • Most importantly, this position requires dependability, initiative and the desire to be a part of a team that's main focus is to bring our Mission to life for our team and residents: To provide for the spiritual, physical, emotional and social needs of our residents through high quality facilities, services and personal care in a manner faithful to the Bible and honoring our Lord, Jesus Christ.

  • Experience with not-for-profit accounting and/or health care a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining AR and AP filing
  • Stuffing envelopes and mailing invoices and checks
  • Posting resident payments
  • Scanning and attaching documents in ERP system
  • Account reconciliations
  • Basic month-end AR, AP, accounting tasks
  • Data entry, Excel, ERP
  • Overall administrative support
