About The Position

Responsible for wire transfer activities and basic accounting functions to include general ledger accounting and bank reconcilement. Education/Experience: A minimum of the following education/experience is required: High school diploma/GED and 3 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

  • Processes outgoing and incoming wire transfers
  • Creates and maintain wire transfer agreements
  • Trains employees in wire transfer procedures
  • Knows and adhere to the Wire Transfer Policy
  • Orders cash for branches each week
  • Cross trains on General Ledger Accounting functions to help trouble shoot outages, backup department, and aid in the training of others
  • Reconciles daily and weekly subsidiary applications
  • Creates entries and balance general ledger accounts
  • Balances DDA Accounts related to general ledger activities
  • Aids in monitoring the daily checklist
  • Assists in creating and compiling various regulatory, management, and board reports
  • Performs Holding company accounting activities as needed
  • Completes month end / quarter end closing processes
  • Performs various administrative duties
  • Other duties as assigned
