You'll be a key communicator, liaising with various FPS Region 10 management levels, and using your proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe to prepare essential reports and ensure the seamless flow of financial information. You'll be the go-to person for processing critical financial transactions, meticulously working within the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS) to create obligations, track payments, and manage requisitions. A significant part of your role will involve the careful stewardship of the Protective Security Officer (PSO) program financials, where you'll audit contractor invoices against service logs and expertly maintain declining balance spreadsheets in Excel to ensure every dollar is precisely allocated. Your analytical eye will be essential as you compare invoiced hours against contract agreements, monitor expenditure burn rates, and generate vital financial reports that inform decision-making by Branch Chiefs, Financial Analysts, and Contracting Officers. You will compile and update crucial budget data, transforming raw information into clear, actionable reports and presentations using tools like Microsoft Office and Adobe. Beyond transactions and tracking, you'll support contract administration from inception to closeout, assisting with modifications and ensuring all documentation is impeccably maintained, both electronically and in hard copy. This role requires a high degree of computer proficiency, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of regional management as you gather and convey essential financial information.
