About The Position

SMArtX Advisory Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our growing team in our West Palm Beach office. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting procedures and supporting the firm’s overall financial health.
The ideal candidate has a strong accounting foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Familiarity with accounting software preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated experience meeting regular and recurring deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily accounting procedures and processes
• Maintain accurate financial reports, records, and general ledgers to ensure consistent bookkeeping and effective budgetary analysis
• Ensure overall financial compliance, including reviewing tax policies, managing tax payments and filings, and supporting audit preparation in accordance with regional and industry-specific regulations
• Provide general financial guidance and support to leadership and internal stakeholders
• Interface confidentially with leadership and, when appropriate, clients to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations
• Meet recurring deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
