Basic Functions: Responsible for various task-related financial record keeping and supporting financial functions. This includes but is not limited to recording transactions, preparing reconciliations and maintaining accurate records. Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Bank policies/procedures.

Requirements

  • Possess understanding of Microsoft Office primarily Excel and Word
  • Accuracy in performing data entry and performing on strict deadlines
  • Confidentiality
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work as a team member and a willingness to help others
  • High School diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior bank experience is preferred
  • Experience and/or classes in accounting a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform General Ledger account balancing, including Fed Balancing, Teller Balancing, ATM Balancing, and Loan Balancing
  • Reconciliations including Positive Pay and Correspondent Banks
  • Cross train with others in the department
  • Projects as assigned to assist the accounting department
  • Assist other departments in research and problem resolution
