About The Position

As an Accounting Associate Supervisor, you play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the Bank’s financial operations, while also guiding and supporting the Accounting Associates who carry out this essential work. This role blends hands‑on accounting expertise with team leadership. It’s ideal for a detail‑driven professional who takes pride in precision, values collaboration, and enjoys helping others grow. What you’ll do: Perform daily balancing and reconciliation of accounts and systems with a high degree of accuracy Oversee and review the work of Accounting Associates to ensure timely, accurate completion of reconciliations and assigned tasks Support and coach Accounting Associates through training, cross‑training, and day‑to‑day guidance Assist other departments by researching discrepancies and resolving accounting‑related questions Collaborate with the accounting team on department projects, process improvements, and deadlines Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold strong internal controls Perform all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures What success looks like: Accurate, timely reconciliations and balanced accounts Consistent adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls Well‑supported Accounting Associates who understand expectations and perform with confidence Strong teamwork within the accounting department and across the Bank Reliable follow‑through on deadlines, reviews, and supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 5+ years of prior banking experience (preferred), with demonstrated reconciliation experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A professional approach to confidentiality and discretion
  • A positive, team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support and develop others

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of prior banking experience (preferred), with demonstrated reconciliation experience
