The Accounting Assistant II maintains accurate financial records. Provides accounting and bookkeeping support. Assists University staff in understanding industry standards, current laws, and university policy as it relates to the financial affairs of the University. Provides guidance and trains entry-level Accounting Assistants. Works with Department of Psychology faculty and staff. Assists with sponsored project awards with budget coordination and expenditure planning. Purchases supplies and equipment. Completes research participant payments. Balances budgets monthly. Prepares ePAs for grant faculty, staff, and graduate students. Develops and maintains database for grant reports and activities.
