PTO/PSTO ACCRUAL UPON HIRE DATE PROFIT SHARING & GAIN SHARING OPPORTUNITIES COMPANY-PAID BENEFITS SUCH AS BASIC LIFE AND SHORT TERM DISABILITY 401K EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE Job Summary: Included but not limited to reviewing all vendor invoices for appropriate approval prior to payment, code and enter invoices into ERP system, manage company purchasing card program, process electronic and manual payments to appropriate vendors, upload 401(k) data to Fidelity, manage sales & use tax, and prepare journal entries. Essential Job Functions: Daily review and processing of invoices Review of items charged to the various company credit cards, matching with receipts, and preparing a journal entry each accounting period Payment of invoices by check, credit card, or electronic ACH Weekly upload of 401(k) data to Fidelity along with payment Manage sales taxability of all purchases File monthly sales & use tax report to state of PA Maintain various spreadsheets as required Maintain vendor files and 1099 maintenance Assist with distribution of periodic interim financial statements Other Functions: Cross train on other accounting positions and assist with covering these duties when others in the accounting dept. are out. The employee is also expected to perform such other duties and functions as required and assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Two plus years of accounts payable in manufacturing
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including using Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Possess basic math skills

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing all vendor invoices for appropriate approval prior to payment
  • Code and enter invoices into ERP system
