About The Position
The Accounting & Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and end-to-end payroll administration for the St Camillus Health System. This includes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliant payroll processing, and strong internal controls. The Accounting & Payroll Manager will also work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure that the facility's financial operations are efficient and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field or equivalent
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and payroll experience, healthcare setting a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll compliance requirements
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to interact tactfully with department managers and organizational leaders.
Nice To Haves
- CPA or CMA, preferred
- Prior people management experience preferred
