Accounting Admin The Accounting Admin's primary responsibility will be MD Retail cash. They will also help support both the Accounting Department and Executive Operations. Experience performing Cash management, debit/credit card reconciliations, administrative duties, and solid excel experience. Retail cash support includes on-call nights and weekends. Requirements

  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check
  • We ask that you have at least two (2) years of experience of executive assistant/administrative support experience.
  • We ask that you have at least two (2) years of banking, teller or cashier experience.
  • We ask that you have solid Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP's, charts, etc.).
  • We prefer that you have experience in a multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Retail Cash Management functions including:
  • Count and reconcile employee cash drawers at the beginning of each shift to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and complete daily cash deposits, ensuring they are made in accordance with company policies and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and deposit logs.
  • Count and reconcile the cash safes.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures comply with company policies and local regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with all financial and employee information.
  • Follow all safety and security protocols to minimize risk.
  • Cash/Bank- responsible for Cash functions including:
  • Maintaining credit/debit card workbooks, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of expenditures with supporting documentation.
  • Executive Support
  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the executive team.
  • Handle the C-Suite's daily time management; prevent double-booking.
  • Draft and manage confidential email and correspondence.
  • Keep the C-Suite informed on deadlines, issues, and priorities; follow up to closure.
  • Receive the D.C. Register and Maryland Cannabis Administration (MCA) bulletins daily, flag material changes.
  • Draft acknowledgements, personal notes, and materials that enable C-Suite execution.
  • Maintain investor contact and mailing lists.
  • Send investor letters and email notes; confirm receipt.
  • Administrative & Office Operations
  • Run office errands (post office, bank, supplies) as needed.
  • Ensure office equipment runs smoothly; arrange repairs; track inventories; assess improvements.
  • Support HQ teams with short and long-term projects.
  • Expense reimbursement documentation and processing.
  • All other duties as necessary.
