About The Position

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the month-end general ledger and internal reporting processes, as well as overseeing fixed asset accounting activities for our subsidiaries.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in accounting, particularly with journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in SAP, including SAP S4 Hana.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
  • Experience with month-end close processes and fixed asset accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in the month-end general ledger and internal reporting processes, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting activities for subsidiaries, including asset creation, cost transfers, capitalized interest and taxes, depreciation, and retirements. Note that fixed asset accounting is performed manually.
  • Create and monitor projects in SAP, ensuring timely placement of projects into service.
  • Perform accounting for and reporting activities related to subsidiary fixed assets.
  • Complete internal control procedures to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Prepare annual accounting reports, including Annual Regulatory filings, account roll forwards, and audit requests.
  • Provide support for both internal and external auditors.
