About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the financial integrity of our manufacturing plant in Georgia. This role is open to Accountant-level candidates with 2+ years of experience. The position plays a key role in financial closing, audit support, and plant-level operational accounting while maintaining strong internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong GL closing and audit readiness.
• Fluent in English and Korean (Required) for effective communication with local teams and Global HQ.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP (FI module required).

Nice To Haves

• Advanced knowledge of SAP FI, with an understanding of CO, MM, and PP modules.
• Extensive experience in building internal control frameworks and leading external audit defenses.
• Deep understanding of cost structures and manufacturing-specific accounting processes.
• Strong knowledge of Georgia Sales & Use Tax and manufacturing-related tax exemptions.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes; ensure the integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Prepare necessary supporting documentation and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Maintain General Ledger (GL) accuracy, manage accruals, depreciation, and the clearance of parked or incomplete SAP documents.
• Assist in the review of the Schedule of Values (SOV) for plant construction; support Construction-In-Progress (CIP) tracking and the final Capitalization process into SAP.
• Review corporate expenses through Concur and G-FIMS; manage Business Partner (BP) registrations and credit applications.
• Coordinate weekly payment runs and monitor payment blocks.
• Lead physical inventory audits and perform variance analysis between book and physical stock.
• Manage ST-5M (Manufacturing Exemption) applications and renewals; support Sales & Use Tax reporting and ensure compliance with Georgia state regulations.
