About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst – Accounting to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting business decisions through robust accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting principles, experience with ERP systems, and proficiency in managing debits, credits, and accruals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage journal entries, including debits, credits, and accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to maintain integrity of financial data.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and reporting.
- Utilize ERP systems for transaction processing, reporting, and data analysis.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
