About The Position

This is a corporate accounting short-term accountant role with a high possibility of long-term placement into a full-time role. The position involves handling corporate accounting functions such as accounting for cash, PPE, prepaids, leases, debt, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, intangible assets, G&A expense, and other assigned areas. The role reports directly to an accounting manager on the corporate accounting team in Orlando, FL, and offers flexibility for remote, hybrid, or in-office setup. Key characteristics sought in a candidate include experience in an accounting role, specifically posting journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts, along with a problem-solving and positive attitude. Specific experience in the mentioned corporate accounting areas is considered a plus.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in accounting
  • 1-3 years minimum experience in an accounting role
  • Problem solving experience
  • Experience working in an accounting role including posting journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
