Accountant - Heart Center Financial Services - FT - 1st Shift
About The Position
Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. An accountant plays a crucial role in the smooth running of an organization. He/she has the task of performing a number of tasks from furnishing of financial information to assessing of the completeness of the information. He/she also checks whether the cost of business operation is accurate. He/she also takes care of other financial matters and commitments pertaining to the company. An accountant plays an important role in preparing of monthly and annual financial reports in order to maintain the records which are related to the financial activities of an organization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance from an accredited college or university required
- Bachelors Degree with appropriate experience will be accepted
- Applicant may have certification of public accountant (CPA) but is not required.
- Minimum of one year accounting experience (preferably in health care or public accounting setting) is required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a fast paced environment requiring the ability to set priorities, coordinate and organize multiple tasks and maintain control of work flow.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites products.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Quickbooks, Lawson, and Crystal reporting beneficial.
