WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: In this dynamic role at nVent Management Company, you will be part of an ambitious team dedicated to delivering world-class financial services while ensuring flawless financial reporting. You will: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions. Assist in the research and analysis of general ledger account variances. Develop and maintain recurring Journal Entries. Prepare assigned month-end account reconciliations accurately and on a timely basis. Provide proactive analysis and support to the finance team. Maintain Sarbanes Oxley documentation. Provide requested internal and external audit documentation. Prepare Ad Hoc data requests and project work as requested. Back up others as needed in the primary accounting center environment to help with workloads as appropriate and ensure work is completed timely and accurately.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle, JDE, Epicor, or similar operating software packages.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work and interact with various departments throughout the organization.
  • The capability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Flexibility regarding overtime during periods of peak activity.
  • Excellent teamwork, self-starting qualities, and superb written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with OneStream is a plus.
  • CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
