About The Position

Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Works under general supervision. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Uses professional concepts. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Nonprofit organization experience.
  • Healthcare experience.
  • Public accounting experience.
  • Experience with accounting overseen by this position.
  • Experience with large accounting systems (i.e., Lawson).
  • CPA.
