About The Position

Meridian Healthcare is looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented Accountant/Grants Management to join our team. Makes recommendations on budget revisions to the Program Managers. Prepares grant reports/budgets and budget revisions timely or as needed to utilize funding most effectively. Tracks match for grants that require it ensuring that match is appropriate and only used once. Tracks staff FTE’s and wages by reporting unit and prepares administrative, direct, and supportive service allocation. Reviews the maintenance activity logs/housekeeping logs and maintains a spreadsheet to charge to the various programs for the actual hours worked. Creates journal entries to make the adjustments and keys into Abila on a monthly basis. Reconciles various general ledger accounts monthly Prepares various month-end and year-end journal entries. Assists in special projects and reports as delegated for management. Recognizes problem accounts and notifies appropriate staff or supervisors to assist in problem resolution. Prepares rent rolls monthly for assigned projects. Meets with managers to review rent rolls on a monthly basis. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and two to five years’ experience working experience with general ledger functions required.
