About The Position

We are looking for an Account Supervisor to join our 9Rooftops Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office location. The Account Supervisor manages and leads the agencys day-to-day relationship with key client contacts. This individual focuses the efforts of agency personnel to ensure projects are completed as proposed on time, within budget and with a minimum of disruption to daily activity of client or agency. As the Account Supervisor, you will employ a range of thinking and decision-making skills, to ensure timely resolution to client initiatives and issues. You are essentially the lead project manager on client projects and thus must demonstrate an ability to organize workload and workflow. In this position, you are expected to effectively present the agencys decisions, recommendations and creative product to a range of client audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6-8 years of account/agency experience required.
  • Managerial experience, including experience developing, motivating and mentoring.
  • Experience leading project teams with multiple discipline representation (creative, media, strategy, social, technology).
  • Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environment.
  • Ability to conceptualize goals and objectives for clients and internal team(s).
  • Demonstrate high levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Operates with a trusted-advisor mindset, not just a task manager
  • Brings both big-picture strategy and detail-oriented execution
  • Highly organized, process-driven, and proactive

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure client trust, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Act as a strategic category advisor by staying informed on client business issues/needs and marketplace trends.
  • Continuously identify growth opportunities organically within accounts to expand services and drive revenue through keen understanding of the clients business/challenges.
  • Be the confident, authoritative voice of the agency team.
  • Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude while balancing client and agency needs.
  • Resolve conflicts effectively with clients, team members, and vendors.
  • Develop scopes of work, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project estimates vs. actuals to maintain financial health of the account.
  • Review monthly billing for accuracy per accounting and client requirements.
  • Take ownership of deployment and management of agency resources on accounts.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality.
  • Prepare timely and accurate internal (creative briefs, timelines, estimates) and external (client reports, status updates) communications.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal relationships to improve collaboration and solutions.
  • Lead team growth, ensuring high performance, empowerment, accountability, and motivation.
  • Manage client business and 9Rooftops teams by motivating and directing team players with a clear vision to achieve shared goals.
  • Proactively seek process improvements to support 9Rooftops success.
  • Stay curious and explore new directions for client and agency decisions, with a willingness to push your own thinking and the agencies work.
  • Stay informed with media landscape changes across social, digital, and traditional platforms.
