The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite. This position plays a crucial role in our daily operations by being the primary interface with our customers, ensuring procedures are followed and customer requirements are met in the processing of their orders. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL is a plus.
- Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
- Technical skills with ability to work in multiple warehouse management systems.
- Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements ensuring accuracy.
- Invoicing and verifying rates per contractual warehouse agreement.
- Address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalate to management as needed.
- Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.
- Maintain a good relationship with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient matter.
- Follow established company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals.
- Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.
