About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Specialist to join our team in Madison. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate order processing, and supporting supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 1–3 years in a business or office environment, preferably with a focus on Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP/QAD experience is a plus.
  • Supply chain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, supply chain, logistics) to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain accurate account records and documentation in company systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with supply chain coordination as needed.
  • Utilize SAP/QAD systems for order entry and account management (training provided if necessary).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to team initiatives.
