Reporting to a Territory Account Manager, ensures that Account Management customer experience goals, new business and renewal production and quality goals are met via interaction with agents, Marketing Representatives, policyholders, U/W’s and other internal and external customers. A typical day will include the following: Works with HRBP to address personnel and performance issues and applies company progressive discipline process when needed and appropriate. Manages Account Manager Specialists and Account Service Associates. Manages a designated book of accounts or designated Agents to service new and renewal business. Analyzes and monitors new and/or renewal pipelines and/or Service requests to ensure efficient workflow management; monitors status of workload and identifies and solves problems. Communicates strategic plans, goals, objectives, assignments including deadlines and timeframes for completion. Maintains strong lines of communication with TAMS, SVP’s, RVP’s, Underwriting Management and other Departments across the Region. Attends Agent Summits / Conventions / Product Fairs, and participates in agency meetings. Directly manages the production of Account Manager Specialists and Account Service Associates to meet or exceed designated metrics. Works with Territory Talent Advisor to solicit talent from various resources, interviews, hires, trains and coaches Account Manager Specialists and Account Service Associates. Involved in recruiting, interviewing and approving the hiring of Account Management staff.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 years’ industry and account management experience
  • 3 years’ supervisory experience
  • an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
  • P&C License required
  • CIC or CISR designation preferred
