This role is responsible for managing digital client campaigns from contract to final reporting. This includes working closely with Media Solutions sales and other Client Management team members and internal stakeholders, such as Advertising Operations, to ensure client campaigns are successfully booked, delivered and optimized, thus fostering a best-in-class client experience throughout. The Account Manager is a fully-client facing role, responsible for monitoring campaign delivery and making optimization recommendations, sharing regular reporting and campaign details with clients, answering client questions and collecting required client advertising assets to launch campaigns. The Account Manager client responsibilities go beyond basic campaign management, as the Account Manager is responsible for understanding POLITICOs advertising specifications and POLITICO’s digital advertising products so that they are able to navigate more technical client asset / spec questions and also make upsell recommendations to Business Development partners when monitoring and finalizing a campaign’s performance. The Account Manager is also responsible for building out orders within our Order Management System, so that they can issue and / or process client Insertion Orders.
