About The Position

The Account Manager plays a key role in solving critical business challenges and building strong, lasting customer relationships. This position focuses on understanding each customer’s environment and aligning Ricoh solutions with their mission-critical goals through strategic engagement with decision-makers and influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of proven business development experience.
  • Foundational understanding of P&L components.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to enable meaningful business conversations.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in IT and/or software services preferred.
  • Knowledge of document workflow solutions and processes preferred.
  • Experience selling in healthcare is preferred
  • Proven success in collaborative influence-building.
  • Solid understanding of solution design processes.
  • Ability to bring thought leadership to customer engagements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts to increase Ricoh’s market share.
  • Customer Insight: Understand the customer’s environment and buying process, focusing on their needs rather than predefined products or services.
  • Problem Solving: Address known and uncovered business challenges through research, questioning, and tailored solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Open doors with decision-makers and influencers to generate sales opportunities.
  • Communication & Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations in person and virtually; articulate how buying decisions impact financial outcomes.
  • Value Differentiation: Use storytelling to demonstrate Ricoh’s ability to accelerate digital transformation and uncover opportunities aligned with Ricoh’s portfolio.
