CL&D has a great opportunity for an Account Representative in Oconomowoc, WI. The Account Rep is responsible for processing small and large scale projects for national and regional branded consumer products, servicing customer product supply, planning and executing new product launches and design changes, and advancing new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree and at least two years experience in a customer forward role preferred.
  • Ability to manage variables and solve practical problems in a variety of situations.
  • Create an identity with customers as a trusted expert and resource.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
  • Work independently and within/through teams.
  • Effective at troubleshooting and root cause pursuit.
  • Execute role with diplomacy, sense of urgency, and anticipation/understanding of changing priorities.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Apply concepts of algebra, geometry, and calculate figures supporting monetary and dimensional values.
  • Travel up to 10% between Oconomowoc & Hartland offices, and at customer sites.
  • A valid drivers’ license and responsible driving history is required to support such travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Printing or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in facilitating graphics flows, packaging, or communications is preferred.
  • Experience facilitating customer projects.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates professionally with clients, sales, supervisors, and internal teams; builds strong working relationships and upholds CL&D’s reputation for quality and service.
  • Develops a working knowledge of materials, manufacturing, pre‑press, press capabilities, rewind processes, and finishing requirements.
  • Gathers, documents, and communicates all client requirements (quantity, pricing, quality, schedule, delivery) and serves as the primary point of contact.
  • Manages all job details, including internal handoffs, client approvals, color expectations, job changes, and preparation of job standards/samples.
  • Coordinates schedules and delivery by working with schedulers, managers, and shipping partners; keeps customers informed of status.
  • Will conduct pre‑ and post‑production meetings and may manage customer inventory release programs.
  • Addresses customer concerns related to technical, quality, workflow, and business matters, including basic cost negotiations.
  • Ensures accuracy and compliance with workflow procedures, systems, non‑conformities, and shipping documentation.
  • Supports the assigned team/POD with purchase orders, project coordination, and continuous improvement.
  • May train others on CL&D processes and workflow while retaining accountability for assigned accounts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
