About The Position

The Account Representative will primarily be responsible for assisting their assigned Account Manager with sales and service activities associated with customers, including recurring orders, samples, and monthly reporting for their assigned geographical area. The Account Representative is assigned a Company vehicle and drives in compliance with Aegis and FMCSA regulations.

Requirements

Ability to travel out to and navigate job sites for extended hours as business dictates with the ability to travel by means designated by Company (Air, Auto, Train, Boat, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook) and PC Skills
Must be a self-starter
Needs little direction to complete tasks; can dictate degree of direction needed to complete tasks
Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. at any given time, greater than 50% of the time.
Daily physical demands of the position include, but are not limited to: sitting, standing, bending, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking.

Responsibilities

Obtaining field samples for laboratory analysis
Performing field analysis of samples within parameters set forth by Aegis’ Operations team
Assists Account Managers in providing chemical and mechanical solutions to the Customer, while assisting them in lowering their lifting cost
Creates monthly reports to capture cost, lab analysis, failures, etc.
Attends and participates in customer meetings, to exchange information and report performance
Troubleshoots production chemical-related problems should they be encountered on the Customer’s site
Assists with a total System Analysis (chemical survey) on existing or potential Customers
Manages Customer chemical inventory in coordination with regional Aegis Operations team
Maintains continuous injection rates at optimum level
Focuses on accomplishing goals in a team environment with an emphasis on safety and cooperative communication across all other functional departments and
All other duties as assigned.
