Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with composure and working effectively under pressure.Manage high-volume email traffic from multiple distribution lists, prioritizing responses, organizing workflow, and reprioritizing throughout the day to meet deadlines. Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal departments (Sales, Operations, Purchasing, etc.) via email, phone, and portal to ensure smooth deliveries and timely follow-up. Process and maintain sales orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring accurate data entry, preparing additional documentation as needed, and proactively providing follow-up documents required by the customer. Receive and appropriately direct incoming calls.Manage backorders by checking reports and working with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery, while proactively informing customers of any delays. Serve as logistics coordinator, assisting the internal freight team and scheduling third-party freight as needed by working with outside vendors and carriers to arrange shipments, obtain quotes, provide documentation, and resolve issues such as delays or missed deliveries. Assist with onboarding new customer accounts and maintain databases as needed. Provide administrative support to the Sales Team and other departments as needed. Support Sales with freight quotes, cost checks, product and price updates, inventory checks, and other requests. Learn and maintain knowledge of industry terminology, including totes, chemical names, product codes, and account specifics, vendor and carrier requirements, etc.Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support after-hours customer and carrier needs. Perform other duties as assigned.
