The Staff Accountant position at PTI Technologies focuses primarily on managing Accounts Receivable transactions to enhance financial efficiency within the aerospace sector. This vital role involves daily customer invoicing and processing cash receipts, ensuring compliance with our financial policies. Responsibilities include reconciling payments and customer accounts, communicating discrepancies to management, and identifying slow-paying clients. You will interact directly with customers regarding past-due accounts, which is essential for strengthening client relationships. Key tasks include processing cash postings, reconciling daily cash with bank totals, overseeing auto invoicing, and preparing monthly journal entries related to accrued commissions and royalties. Additionally, you will back up the Credit Supervisor by evaluating creditworthiness and monitoring collections to mitigate bad debt risks.
