How Will You Make an Impact? As an Account Operations Manager at our Memphis, TN facility , you will lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in operational metrics, maximize profitability, and exceed customer expectations. You’ll serve as a key liaison between the Business Unit and Operations, ensuring strategic alignment, efficient execution, and exceptional support for customers, team members, and shareholders. Location: This role is based on-site at our Memphis, TN facility. What Will You Do? Leadership & Management Responsibilities Recruitment & Retention Identify staffing needs for the Workcell and communicate requirements to Functional Managers. Monitor team member turnover and implement improvements to enhance retention. Employee & Team Development Identify individual and team strengths and development needs. Coach and mentor Workcell team members to deliver excellence to internal and external customers. Performance Management Establish measurable goals and objectives for individuals and teams. Provide feedback to Functional Managers on team member contributions. Encourage pride and recognition within the Workcell. Drive continuous improvement in operational metrics and customer satisfaction. Coordinate large teams and maintain focus during critical situations. Ensure fair and consistent recognition and rewards. Communication Facilitate open communication within the Workcell. Organize verbal and written communication using appropriate business style. Encourage input and adapt communication style to team needs. Act as a communication link between the Business Unit and Operations. Functional Management Responsibilities Business Strategy & Direction Understand campus strategic directions and align customer/workcell strategy accordingly. Provide regular updates to leadership on strategy execution. Communicate resource requirements to Functional Managers. Cost Management Develop monthly business unit forecasts with the Business Unit Manager. Identify cost reduction opportunities through process improvement. Monitor department costs and trends to improve value. Provide cost feedback to leadership. Forecast Development & Accuracy Prepare timely forecasts and analyze trends. Complete variance analysis and communicate results to leadership and the Workcell team. Technical Management Responsibilities Train Workcell teams on metric-based management and monitor performance. Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis and metrics. Ensure procedures and work instructions are efficient and non-redundant. Identify and implement new practices and process improvements. Demonstrate commitment to customer service and problem resolution. Lead by example and promote knowledge sharing across teams and facilities. Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Review and influence business plans and process changes for win/win outcomes. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and security policies. Management & Supervisory Responsibilities This role reports to the Business Unit Manager and may include oversight of cross-functional teams within the Workcell. The Account Operations Manager is responsible for strategic execution, team development, and operational alignment.
