About The Position

The Account Manager is an inside sales position responsible for actively engaging with customers daily to build relationships, identify opportunities, and drive sales growth across all HPG Brands. This role supports our Outside and National sales teams to ensure business success and works closely with Associate Account Executives to grow the region. Due to the work region, candidates living in the Mountain and Pacific Time Zones preferred. This position is considered a fully remote position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong client relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and accuracy skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Business development mindset with a focus on sales growth.
  • Exceptional customer service awareness and responsiveness.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Remains professional, calm, and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • Capable of recognizing when to seek guidance from leadership.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move within an office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas across all HPG Brands subsidiaries.
  • Conduct proactive outreach daily to build relationships, discuss campaigns, and follow up on marketing initiatives by email, phone, and other marketing channels.
  • Effectively engage in virtual meetings with customers and assist Outside Sales Teams when needed and drive opportunities that come from customer engagements.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing accounts through relationship management of assigned accounts across all brands.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities while recognizing and addressing the current and future needs of customers within an assigned region.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and support, including handling inbound queue calls.
  • Provide customer quotations in a timely manner.
  • Educate customers on HPG sales tools (samples, corporate presentations, special programs, website tools etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to enhance customer interactions.
  • Offer expert product and industry insights when needed across all HPG Brands.
  • Update and manage CRM records in a NetSuite environment to track pipelines.
  • Generate reports and analytics to support sales growth for customers.
  • Follow up with thank-you calls on large orders to strengthen relationships.
  • Execute tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and ensure completion of responsibilities.
  • Collaborate internally across departments and HPG Brands to resolve issues for accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
