About The Position

InfuSystem is a leading national health care service provider, facilitating outpatient care for durable medical equipment manufacturers and health care providers by delivering ambulatory pumps and supplies, along with related clinical, biomedical and billing services, to practices and patients nationwide. InfuSystem offers Oncology, Pain Management and Wound Care therapies, including Negative Pressure Wound Therapy. The company’s Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services are composed of direct payer rentals, pump and consumable sales, and biomedical services and repair, including on-site and depot services. InfuSystem provides the sale, rental, lease and associated supplies, including infusion pumps, nerve blocks for acute pain, nerve block catheters, postoperative pain pumps, central venous catheters, IV pumps, pole-mounted pumps, syringe pumps, enteral pumps, Huber needles, clean room supplies, IV extension tubing, pump tubing, ambulatory pumps, replacement pumps, disposable products, central venous access devices, closed system transfer devices, negative pressure wound therapy vacs, wound vac, and chemotherapy and oncology infusion pumps. Biomedical services include both on-site and depot preventive maintenance, repair and warranty services, ranging from equipment inspections to extensive repairs, including compression device systems, defibrillators, EKG machines, electrosurgical units, external pacemakers, humidifiers, infusion pumps, LCDs, light sources, modules, patient monitors, printers, pulse oximeters, telemetry transmitters and tourniquets – all completed to factory specifications. Headquartered in Rochester Hills, Michigan, InfuSystem delivers local, field-based customer support and operates Centers of Excellence in Michigan, Kansas, California, Massachusetts, Texas and Ontario, Canada. Under the direction of the Regional VP of Oncology Sales, the Account Manager is responsible for servicing assigned customer accounts and working in partnership with the Territory Manager to support the growth and maintenance of the territory. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing all paperwork, pumps and supplies, while improving pump utilization and billable treatments, and providing superior levels of customer service. Certain hospitals, clinics and other medical centers now require InfuSystem to provide proof of vaccination prior to entering their facilities. Your role may require proof of vaccination for us to receive the accreditation credentials needed to effectively service our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an initial point of contact for customers and escalate clinical issues through internal processes as needed
  • Build and maintain trusting, collaborative relationships with customer stakeholders to support long‑term partnerships, workflow adoption, and consistent execution
  • Establish credibility within assigned accounts through consistent presence, reliable execution, and proactive communication
  • Troubleshoot facility workflow issues related to ambulatory infusion pumps, supplies, and new products within the assigned geography and across the territory
  • Proactively identify customer accounts that would benefit from workflow improvements, initiate consultative discussions with account stakeholders, and partner with the Territory Manager to drive adoption and execution of agreed‑upon solutions
  • Lead Express (paperwork) and clinical in‑services for new and existing accounts recruited by the Territory Manager within the assigned geography, either in person or remotely
  • Promote new product initiatives within assigned active accounts
  • Provide top‑tier customer service by managing the deployed pump fleet at each facility
  • Demonstrate consistent follow‑through on customer requests, issues, and action items to ensure timely resolution and sustained customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and drive resolution
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries regarding InfuSystem products and services
  • Identify, track, and resolve outstanding or pending customer paperwork issues
  • Monitor usage of pumps & supplies at designated accounts
  • Communicate with team members daily and share weekly schedules with Territory Managers
  • Produce and submit reports as requested by InfuSystem management
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional team members daily to achieve shared monthly sales and process goals
  • Reside within the assigned territory
  • Support approximately 200 cancer centers across NY, NJ, PA, MD, DC, VA, DE, and WV
  • Travel regularly within the territory with an average of 20–25 site visits per week, typically across 3–4 route days with 1–2 office days.
