About The Position

In CDS, we are an extraordinary mix of travel industry experts, product, and software engineers, developing a successful Hotel booking tool for corporations and large organizations. Today, as a part of the sector leader S4BT Group, we support 500k+ business users making thousands of bookings a day. We’re looking for an Account Manager who will manage and develop the customer portfolio in Nothern Italy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in travel industry, or related field, even equivalent experience in account management will be evaluated
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, sales or customer service within the business travel industry.
  • Knowledge of the business travel industry is essential;
  • Proven expertise in the Travel Management Company ecosystem,
  • Strong knowledge of Self-Booking Tools (SBTs) and GDS world.
  • Understanding of the products on the business travel market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience or knowledge of the hospitality industry is considered a plus
  • Fluent in Italian, English and French (C1+) will be a plus

Responsibilities

  • Client Retention and Development
  • Detect and leverage all commercial opportunities.
  • Develop the portfolio of accounts under your responsibility.
  • Identify, understand, and resolve client issues.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company’s strategic values.
  • Propose new solutions and functionalities in response to client needs.
  • Provided daily client support, including billing issue resolution, configuration adjustments, hotel program management, and troubleshooting of platform-related issues.
  • Project Management
  • Successfully orchestrate projects related to your clients by coordinating internal resources in project mode.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring the proper application of contractual commitments.
  • Implement clients within the CDS Group technological ecosystem.
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Implement a Commercial Action Plan for each client to achieve the margin objectives set by management.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to clients.
  • Conduct quarterly Business Reviews with clients, highlighting key indicators such as number of bookings, adoption rate, and dispute rate.
  • Build, analyze, and interpret dashboards to manage clients and make recommendations.
  • Reporting and Development
  • Present a weekly report on ongoing and upcoming business to management using the tools provided.
  • Grow client volumes by successfully implementing new offers, increasing user adoption rates, and exploring new development opportunities in the market.
