We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all their employee benefits needs. This role requires a deep understanding of benefit programs, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits management or related field, with a proven track record of success in client-facing roles.
  • Strong understanding of various benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits, along with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with benefits administration software preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry certifications such as CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor for all employee benefits-related matters.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to assess satisfaction levels, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, underwriting, and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of benefits solutions and exceptional service to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in employee benefits to provide informed guidance and recommendations to clients.
  • Assist clients with plan design, renewal negotiations, and implementation of new benefits offerings, leveraging insights and data analysis to drive strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee education sessions, open enrollment meetings, and other relevant events to promote understanding and utilization of benefit programs.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations to clients, summarizing key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
