About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic, self-driven, and detail-oriented Account Manager to play a crucial role in enhancing our brand's impact in Avery Dennison's licensed Pro Sports channel . As an Account Manager, you will leverage your knowledge, and strategic mindset to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires an individual capable of defining new program requirements, managing end-to-end sales processes, and maintaining customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in team sports & licensed team sports sales (Pro, NCAA, Team Dealer)
  • Proven customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of U.S./Canada team sports calendar & landscape
  • Proficiency in technical and digital skills, including use of Google Suite, ERP (Oracle preferred), pricing tools, product/customer databases.
  • Proven record of success in team sports sales both in retail and on field/ice/pitch/court
  • Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Knowledge of heat transfers, twill, patches, badges and external embellishments
  • Flexible attitude with an eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities within a global Fortune 500 organization.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and influence customer's business models and objectives to ensure their success.
  • Oversee and manage the product development process from customer briefing to final approval, deployment, and order acceptance.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, including inventory reports, customer sales reports, and product development trackers using digital systems and processes (Oracle SalesCloud, Oracle Commerce Cloud, Eloqua, pricing, and product specification tooling).
  • Resolve complex order, quality, or deployment issues to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by answering questions and providing detailed information about our services.
  • Strong experience and proficiency in prospecting, social selling, and customer outreach.
  • Participate in store audits, lead customer meetings, and maintain account planners.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product innovations.
  • Collaborate across different teams to support sales growth and product development initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide Associate Brand Managers, acting as a point of escalation and source of guidance.
