About The Position

As an Account Manager, you will be personally responsible for — and rewarded for — driving the ongoing success of Mid-State Industrial Maintenance (MSIM). You will cultivate a deep understanding of client facilities, provide technical solutions that enhance efficiency, and help ensure safe operating electrical systems. In partnership with the Division Sales Manager, you’ll execute the go-to-market strategy, drive profitable revenue growth, and expand our vertical-market client base and geographic reach.

Requirements

  • Electrical field experience required.
  • Prior sales or marketing experience in electrical services/maintenance.
  • Proficient in preparing electronic take-offs and estimates.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer / pre-placement drug screen and job-related employment physicals.
  • Must also submit to a post-offer / pre-employment background check that verifies criminal history.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in utility and power generation industries preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience (5+ years) in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from identifying potential clients to securing deals.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships through networking and proactive engagement.
  • Conduct routine audits and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for client projects.
  • Oversee quality control measures for on-site work.
  • Schedule subcontractors to meet project timelines and milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team for timely project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels within client organizations.
  • Execute plans to ensure consistent communication with existing customers and key prospects.
  • Identify and capture profitable revenue opportunities.
  • Attend trade meetings to gather information and establish contacts.
  • Resolve post-sale client issues effectively.
