This role sits at the intersection of Account Management and Strategic Partnerships, supporting broker partners who both use the AlphaSense platform to produce research and distribute their proprietary research through our network. You will serve as the day-to-day commercial owner for a defined group of sell-side and independent research firms, driving adoption across analyst teams, strengthening relationships with research leadership, and supporting the value of their research within the AlphaSense ecosystem. Unlike traditional account management roles, this position balances platform adoption, commercial growth, and the health of a dual-sided partnership.

Requirements

  • Bring a foundation in capital markets and a curiosity for how technology is reshaping research workflows.
  • Commercially aware, analytically minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
  • Financial Services Grounding: Have spent time inside or alongside equity research, investment banking, capital markets, or a Financial Services-focused SaaS environment. Understand how research is produced, how analysts consume information, and what differentiates firms competing for attention in a crowded market.
  • Commercial Instinct with Accountability: Think beyond activity and focus on outcomes. Comfortable owning renewal conversations, identifying growth opportunities, and balancing relationship building with commercial rigor.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data and context. Usage signals, workflow behavior, and market trends help tell a clearer story about value and risk. Approach problems with structure and curiosity rather than assumptions.
  • Credible Communicator Across Seniority Levels: Can engage a junior associate in a detailed workflow discussion and then shift seamlessly into a strategic conversation with a Head of Research. Communicate with clarity, confidence, and respect for your audience’s expertise.
  • Ownership Mentality: Take responsibility for your partnerships. Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity as both AlphaSense and the broader AI landscape continue to evolve.
  • Typically bring 1 to 3 years of experience in a Financial Services or closely related environment.
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial lifecycle for assigned broker partners, including strategy, forecasting, and renewals.
  • Identify expansion opportunities aligned to research visibility and analyst productivity.
  • Act as a strategic advisor as partners adopt AI-powered research workflows.
  • Drive meaningful platform adoption across analyst teams to ensure partners realize measurable value.
  • Lead thoughtful business reviews that translate usage trends into business outcomes, reinforcing AlphaSense’s role as a strategic partner.
  • Monitor engagement signals and relationship dynamics to identify risk early, then execute clear mitigation plans that protect long-term partnership value.
  • Represent the voice of sell-side partners across Product, Sales, and Content teams.
  • Maintain strong operational rigor through clear CRM hygiene and forecasting discipline.
