Account Manager, Select Commercial Accounts

Alera Group is looking for a Account Manager, Select Commercial Accounts. Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Property & Casualty broker’s license required
- Minimum 2 years of P&C insurance experience with a carrier, broker, or wholesaler; commercial insurance experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial P&C products with proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems; professional designations a plus
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a defined book of small commercial clients, driving retention, renewal execution, service excellence, and growth metrics
- Serve as the primary client advisor by leading renewals, identifying coverage gaps, presenting proposals, advocating through claims, and proactively addressing client needs
- Coordinate service delivery and documentation by managing policy changes, certificates, billing issues, system accuracy, compliance standards, and collaboration with carriers and internal teams
