The Account Manager is a sales role and will represent Apellis to all relevant key accounts in your assigned geography. With the goal of building trust in the company, its values, its science, and the product. They will be accountable for understanding those accounts, building effective territory and key account plans that address the range of all pertinent stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem. The Account Manager will create and implement account plans in collaboration with other Apellis customer-facing teams aligned to their geography. In addition, the Account Manager will identify treatment patterns, help to map referral networks and work cross-functionally with their overlapping partners. Further, the Account Manager serves as the lead point of contact for other account management activities, such as speaker management, marketing engagement, and other commercial needs. The territory for this position is San Antonio, Austin, Waco, Lubbock and all of New Mexico.
