About The Position

We are seeking a driven Account Manager / Inside Sales professional to support client relationships and policy servicing within an insurance agency environment. This role focuses on maintaining existing accounts, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and generating new business through inside sales initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills with sales confidence, ensuring high client retention while contributing to revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in insurance account management or inside sales
  • Knowledge of personal and/or commercial insurance products preferred
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines
  • Active insurance license or ability to obtain (preferred)
  • Professional, client-facing communication skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up discipline

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of personal and/or commercial insurance accounts
  • Handle inbound and outbound communications regarding policy updates, renewals, and coverage modifications
  • Generate new business through inside sales efforts and cross-selling strategies
  • Prepare quotes, applications, endorsements, and policy documentation
  • Support renewal processes, remarketing efforts, and client retention initiatives
  • Maintain accurate client records and follow up on outstanding documentation
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality client service to strengthen long-term relationships
