About The Position

We are seeking a service-focused Account Manager to join our Freight Brokerage team in Franklin, TN. This role is dedicated to managing and supporting existing customer accounts — not sales or business development. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned shippers, ensuring freight moves efficiently, issues are resolved quickly, and service expectations are consistently exceeded. This position plays a critical role in customer retention and operational execution.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, or supply chain preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation systems (TMS)

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activity for an assigned portfolio of existing shipper accounts
• Coordinate freight shipments from pickup through delivery
• Communicate shipment status updates proactively with customers
• Work closely with carriers and internal operations teams to secure capacity
• Troubleshoot service disruptions and resolve issues quickly
• Ensure accuracy of load details, billing information, and system data
• Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and carrier partners
