The Account Manager is responsible for the ongoing service, consultation, and implementation of collaborative health solutions that are tailored to meet each customer’s unique health and dental plan goals. This role is accountable for the successful management of a portfolio of large employer groups. Serving the Large Group Commercial market, this position plays a vital role in maintaining strong service levels, protecting key employer and broker relationships, and supporting organizational objectives related to system volume, strategic growth, and claims cost management. The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison for assigned employer groups, ensuring continuity across benefit strategy, renewals, issue resolution, and claims oversight. Through employer retention and renewal support, broker and consultant engagement, and ongoing monitoring of utilization trends, the Account Manager directly influences overall system volume, strategic growth, and claims cost outcomes, including efforts to mitigate steerage to non-preferred networks. This position reports to the Manager of Renewal Sales and joins a collaborative team of four Account Managers.
