About The Position

Legacy Risk Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our PointeNorth Insurance Division. We are a full-service independent insurance agency looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional to support our Insurance Producers in the sales and service of Middle Market Commercial Lines accounts (premium volume above $25k). In this role, you will manage new business implementation, renewals, and ongoing account service while building a strong understanding of each client’s coverage needs. You’ll navigate carrier rating programs and underwriting guidelines, and play a key role in marketing, placing, and servicing both new and renewal business. Success in this role requires delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality service to clients and internal partners. This is a hybrid position offering both in-office and remote flexibility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Minimum of 4 years of insurance industry experience
  • Experience with Applied Epic agency management system required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office 365)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the renewal process, including collaboration and meetings with producers
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client communication via phone and email
  • Oversee billing and collections for agency-billed (AB) policies in partnership with producers
  • Manage policy binding for renewals (unless directed to the centralized marketing team)
  • Prepare and submit applications for marketing to carriers
  • Handle endorsements and premium-bearing policy changes with carriers and clients
  • Coordinate and respond to non-renewals alongside producers and clients
  • Organize master certificates and ensure all endorsements are properly attached
  • Collect Loss Pick Reports (LPRs) from clients
  • Manage premium audits and communicate significant audit changes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and file organization within ImageRight
  • Review policy checklists and coordinate updates with the Account Service Manager (ASM)
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
